I love Bruno Mars. I think he's such a talented artist and songwriter. His musical style, I feel, hasn't changed very much over the years. However, his stuff never gets old because while he is a pop artist (at least that's how I categorize him), he incorporates elements of other genres into his music.
"Just The Way You Are" is one of the many songs I associate with good memories. Many years ago, I performed this song with my brother for my mom's birthday. So whenever I hear the song I think of that. And despite the many years that have passed since it came out, it remains one of my favorite Bruno Mars songs.
It has many great qualities about it. The beat itself is a simple one, and the musical accompaniment is pleasant to listen to. But coupled with the lyrics and singing style of Bruno Mars, makes the song amazing. It is a love song about being so in love with a girl just the way she is. Hence, the title. The lyrics w/ the beat are catchy and get stuck in your head. Especially since he repeats certain phrases many times over. I know that’s not the best review of this song, but I feel like there’s no way (in my capabilities) to describe it, whilst doing it justice. I’m probably biased, but this song is a good one. And even though I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is about it, something about the song just stands out.
